The Planet Magazine is written and published on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Lummi and Nooksack Peoples, who have lived with the land and waterways of what is now Bellingham, Washington since time immemorial.

As a magazine, we are always striving to move beyond acknowledgement and work to actively decolonize our newsroom and classroom. To find resources about the traditional inhabitants of this area, and our work to honor and respect their continuing lifeways, please click here.
